Why I Started Hart to Hart
Hi, I'm Leland Hart. I founded Hart to Hart in Everett, Washington in June 2026, with one goal: to help people get to the care they need, and back home again. Getting to the doctor shouldn't depend on whether you have a car or someone free to drive you, so I started Hart to Hart to fill that gap. I believe a ride to care should feel like a ride with a neighbor: on time, patient, and treated with respect.
On March 1, 2027, my family is moving to Billings, and I plan to start rides there in spring 2027. Our family's next chapter is in Billings, where we want to put down roots, raise our family, and give back, and I want to build a business that serves the community we're joining. Rural and reservation communities around Billings, including the Crow Reservation, often face long drives with few ride options, and I want to help close that gap. Hart to Hart is family-owned, and I'm the sole owner. When you call, you can talk with me directly.
Hart to Hart plans to offer non-emergency medical transportation, and nothing else. That means personalized rides, multi-stop trips when you have more than one place to be, and a commitment to make it right if something isn't.
The name says it all. A ride to the doctor is about more than getting from point A to point B. It's about people helping people, from our hart to yours.
Serving the Crow Reservation is at the heart of my plans. Future coverage is being explored.
I have served under a federal oath to protect people's confidential personal information, and I bring that same care to every rider's privacy.
